Week of October 31

Thursday folder fliers are found HERE

Drop Off Lane:
If you drop off students in our drop off lane, please remain in your vehicle. This lane is considered a "kiss and go". Students should exit the car on the right hand side.

If you need to support your student with getting backpacks on, items out of the trunk, walking them to the door, etc., please park in the available parking spaces. This supports a timely and safe drop off for all students and staff. Thank you for your help with this!

Red Apple Recycling:
Please remember to drop off used textiles in our little "red house". We receive $0.10 per pound of textiles, which will be used to support our SSN program.

Penny Drive:
Please remember to drop off your pennies in the office for our November penny drive. All pennies will be used to support Clean Your World.

Socktober Count:
Our Socktober campaign is complete We collected a whooping 814 pairs of socks! Mrs. Hayes class won the party with Mrs. Colorado and Mrs. Wyoming with 123 pairs! I am SO proud of our school and our students for their commitment to this cause! All socks will be donated to homeless families in the Denver Metro area. Thank you for your support to help Colorado families!

Open Enrollment:
Open enrollment is now open! Please let your friends and neighbors know that Iron Horse is accepting open enrollment for all grades.

Kindergarten Registration:
Kindergarten Registration will begin on December 8th from 8:00am-3:00pm daily. We are hoping to have 2 full day kindergarten classes, as well as a 1/2 day class. This will be entirely based upon enrollment. We will guarantee full day kindergarten spots to the first 25 families with a $100 deposit. After that, families can indicate intent for full day enrollment. If we receive enough enrollments, we will open a 2nd full day class. You will need a birth certificate, proof of residency, current immunization record, and completed registration packet to register. Please see the office for more details on Kindergarten registration.
