Week of February 26, 2018

Thursday Folder Fliers:
Legend Into the Woods Meet and Greet

New Website:
Please bookmark our new website - http://ihe.dcsdk12.org. Google does not provide the appropriate website. We are working with the district to remedy this situation.

Author Visit:
We welcomed author Cherie Dammon and Illustrator Kim Betschart to our building on Wednesday. The students and staff loved the presentation. If you would like to purchase a book, please speak with the office staff.

Spring Conferences:
We will be holding our spring conferences on March 13 and March 15. These conferences are student led, meaning that our students will be sharing what they have worked hard on this school year. Teachers will also meet with you individually during this time to discuss progress, update READ plans, and set final learning targets for the year. The Online Scheduler will open on March 1st and close on March 8th. To set up your appointment, please visit  http://ihe.dcsdk12.org/  (our new website). Once on the site, move to Parent Resources and click on Online Scheduler.

Then use the drop down menu to select Iron Horse Elementary.

After selecting Iron Horse Elementary, you will need to enter your student's ID number and the password "engineer". At this point, you will be able to select a date and time for your child's conference. Please call Janet Nolan if you experience any issues.
