Open Enrollment and Kindergarten Registration:
The open enrollment window opened on November 1st. We are accepting open enrollment in all grade levels. This window will close on December 1st and parents will be notified by December 8th.

Kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year will open on December 4th. We will have both tuition-based full-day and non-tuition based half-day (AM only) options. If you are choosing full-day, we do require a $100 deposit to secure your spot. Tuition for next year has not be set yet, but is expected to be around $3300.00 per year. Tuition will be finalized in January. Enrollment information can be found on the IHE website or you can contact Janet Nolan for more information (303-387-8525).

Volunteers Needed for Thanksgiving Feast:
If you are interested in supporting our Thanksgiving Feast, please contact our cafeteria manager, Tammi at tschmidt1@dcsdk12.org.

Parking Lot:
If you are dropping off in the morning, please only use our main drop off line. We do not allow students to be dropped off in the parking lot or to cross the crosswalk without an adult. When picking up or dropping off, please use the crosswalk to retrieve your students to support the traffic flow in the lot. Students are not allowed to cross to the parking lot without an adult.

Additionally, the Town of Parker and DCSD came out to study our traffic patterns. The Town of Parker found that there is some additional striping that can be done to support the traffic movement in and out of Iron Horse both on Tallman and within the long lane into Iron Horse. They are currently moving towards a plan to complete this work. Further, they found that the light timing and the flow in the parking lot is appropriate for our school. Thank you for your help in following traffic laws and keeping our students safe!

PTO Texas Roadhouse Roll Sales:
PTO is again selling Texas Roadhouse rolls for your Thanksgiving dinner. Roll sales start October 20th and continue until November 2nd. Orders will be ready for pick up on November 15th - just in time to enjoy on Thanksgiving! Order forms are available in the office or through the link at the top of the blog.
