Kindergarten Registration 2019-2020:
Kindergarten registration starts on December 11th! Registration packets will be available after school, either on the website or at the front door, on December 10th.
We will have both tuition-based full day classes and a non-tuition-based AM kindergarten class next year. Registration is a first come, first served process. In order to register, you will need to bring your child's birth certificate, proof of residence, and complete a registration packet. Full day class registration also requires a $100 deposit. Tuition for the 2019-20 school year has not yet been determined, but is expected to be around $3500.00 for the year. PTO Holiday Store:
We have some exciting holiday shopping news. This year, the IHE PTO will be holding a holiday store in the Junction on Wednesday, December 12th through Friday, December 14th from 8:00-4:00pm. The Holiday store will give students the opportunity to look at a range of items and buy holiday gifts for others (parents/guardians, siblings, grandparents, and even their pets) in "secret" during the school day. The items will range in price from $0.25 to $20.00. If your student is interested in purchasing items, please send their money in a secure envelope or zip lock.

News from the Art Room:
Hello Everyone! The art room has been a busy place this year and it's time to do a little catching up. I did not have any students complete projects at the end of September except for the Original Works, which had to get sent off for either your viewing pleasure or orders. In an effort to not skip the Artist of the Month for November, I'll be displaying both November and December at the same time. Original Works Art Department Fundraiser items should be arriving next week, unless you're part of my late order group. The late orders still should arrive by the holidays if all goes well!
Expect to find an email waiting for your from Artsonia sometime in the next week or two. Some of you may be familiar with it, but for those of you who are not, it's an online portfolio of student artwork. This way, you can view what your child/children are doing in the art room, read my comments, and share with family members. You'll also be able to put your student's artwork onto items as gifts similar to Original Works, but you can choose the art and purchase at any time. Twenty percent of the purchase goes back to the art department. You get to choose whether your child participates and at what level. Please feel free to let me know what you think! Thanks so much! Open Enrollment:
The first round of open enrollment is available now and closes December 3rd. Notifications of acceptance will be forwarded to families by December 7th. Families must accept or deny offers. Decisions to accept or deny offers must be received by December 17th at 4:00pm. Second round open enrollment begins January 22nd and ends August 1st, 2019.
