| Items Needed for the Junction: Our students have been doing amazing things in our makerspace! Recently, students have been taking apart old electronics to use to repurpose and recycle. We would love donations of the following items to continue to support and extend learning in the makerspace:
If you ordered a classroom composite from the photographer this year, they should be sent home this week (from the teacher). If there are any errors, or if there is an order missing, please call the Dorian customer service line at 1-800-826-3535. Jump Rope For Heart: We are wrapping up Jump Rope For Heart with the American Heart Association. Thank you so much for helping our campus stay heart healthy and save lives at the same time! If you haven't had a chance to join the squad there's still a little time left to earn the #ScareSquad monsters. Sign up now at www.heart.org/Jump or download the Jump/Hoops App (App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android). |

Recess During Winter:
As the weather begins to get colder, please review our policies per our parent handbook regarding appropriate attire and the playground.
"During periods of inclement weather, please be sure your child comes to school dressed in appropriate clothing, including boots, hats, gloves, socks, and coats as necessary. Inside recess days will be decided by Administration and will be based on the temperature, precipitation, and cloud cover. Below 20 degrees is typically a cut off for children being able to go outside. In order to keep our students safe, all students must wear snow boots when playing in the snow. If students are not wearing appropriate snow gear, they will be asked to stay on the blacktop."

Unfortunately, playground use during the remainder of the school day is limited to students who are in attendance for school. Please do not use the playground during this time. Thank you for your help with this!
