No Flyers This Week
Lockdown Versus Lockout:
With our lockout situation this week, I wanted to review the difference between the two. A lockout means that there is a threat outside of the building. Students are directed to come in the building and are not allowed to leave/go outside. We continue with our day as usual.
A lockdown means that there is a threat within the building. Students are directed to go to the safe spot in their classroom and will only be released by police officers. We practice these drills regularly throughout the year. Please make sure to talk with your students about these differences.
